CAPPADOCIA. Caesaraea-Eusebia. Geta, as Caesar, 198-209. Drachm (Silver, 17 mm, 3.18 g, 12 h), RY 16 of Septimius Severus = 207/8. Λ CЄΠTI ΓЄTAC KAI Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Geta to right, seen from behind. Rev. MHTPO KAICAPI NЄΩKO / ЄT Ις Mount Argaios surmounted by a star. Apparently unpublished, but cf. CNG 91 (2012), 587 var. (differing reverse legend). A very rare issue. Nicely toned and with a charming portrait. Very fine.
